During the meeting, local leaders reported solid progress in socio-economic performance across economic, cultural, social, and security-defense sectors since the merger of commune-level administrative units.
Despite multiple challenges, most localities achieved encouraging results in GRDP growth, budget revenue, poverty reduction, and public investment disbursement, meeting or exceeding provincial targets.
Administrative operations remained stable with no disruptions in governance or public services. Local administrative centers continued to perform effectively, ensuring smooth procedures for both citizens and businesses.
Leaders of the wards and commune also outlined key obstacles affecting future development, urging the province to support planning, infrastructure investment, and investment attraction to create new growth drivers.
In his closing remarks, Chairman Pham Anh Tuan commended the achievements made over the first nine months of 2025, stressing that the region still holds vast potential in high-tech agriculture, processing industries, renewable energy, and urban-commercial-service development.
He urged local authorities to pursue innovative, forward-looking planning, accelerate the establishment of modern urban-commercial-service zones, and attract high-efficiency investment projects. He also called for stronger trade promotion, high-tech agricultural investment, and improved site clearance to facilitate business operations.
The Chairman emphasized the need to expedite critical infrastructure projects, including road networks, irrigation systems, riverbank protection, wastewater treatment, and waste processing facilities, ensuring timely public investment disbursement, estimated at several billion VND (approximately $120,000–$160,000 USD) for key works.
Pham Anh Tuan further highlighted the importance of building a constructive, people-oriented government that prioritizes residents’ welfare and engagement.
Before the meeting, the Chairman conducted field surveys at several key development and cultural sites, including the proposed new administrative centers of Cuu An Commune and An Binh Ward, the Roc Tung archaeological site, and the planned expansion of the An Khe Industrial Cluster.
He also inspected proposed sites for riverbank reinforcement, road construction, and urban development projects, as well as the An Tan Urban Area, a new private hospital, and a sports-service complex in An Khe Ward.
