From September 21 to 24, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong and his spouse, accompanied by a high-level Vietnamese delegation, attended the General Debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, combined with bilateral activities in the United States.
The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development between Vietnam and the United States continues to deepen, maintaining positive momentum and achieving notable results.
The strategic quality of cooperation between the two sides has been enhanced across all areas, particularly in joint efforts to address the consequences of war.
During discussions, leaders of both countries also agreed to further strengthen exchanges of delegations and contacts at all channels and levels, especially at the highest level.
