The competition features 16 boys’ and girls’ teams from Ia Tôr and neighboring villages, with matches scheduled from September 20 to 28. Organizers are providing uniforms and match balls free of charge.
The tournament is part of the “Sowing football dreams” project, founded by Nguyễn Thị Trúc Phương in collaboration with HLC Media, designed to create a healthy playground for rural children while identifying and nurturing young football talent.
Outstanding players will later be recommended to professional football centers and academies across Vietnam.
Alongside the tournament, organizers delivered 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, including lanterns, mooncakes, milk and sweets, to local children, and offered support to 20 disadvantaged households in Ia Tôr commune.
