Provincial leaders’ commitments
Tuấn affirmed that Gia Lai will establish a dedicated support team to accompany enterprises under the principle of “resolving issues as they arise.”
He urged companies with raw material areas in the province to invest in deep-processing plants to increase the value of crops and livestock, thereby raising state budget revenues.
Projects in border areas, he said, must prioritize stable employment for local residents to contribute to political security and social order.
On rubber plantation projects, Tuấn noted that the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has issued guidance and will reassess the plan to convert degraded forest land to rubber plantations, with a view to shifting to agricultural land and restructuring crops for higher efficiency.
Strategic orientation
The province is determined to push forward commercial and service projects, review planning around the former Pleiku City area, and address land and construction issues in phases.
Investors were urged to expedite compensation and site clearance, complete infrastructure investment before moving to subsequent phases, and align projects with provincial planning.
Gia Lai is also investing in transport and logistics infrastructure, including airport and seaport connectivity, to support business operations.
Tuấn encouraged enterprises to pursue substantive projects with social responsibility, focus on key economic pillars, and comply with legal regulations and state policies.
He instructed provincial departments and localities to resolve obstacles thoroughly, avoid delays for businesses, and ensure discussions translate into action.
