Matches will be held at Pleiku Stadium in Pleiku Ward and the Ham Rong Training Center in Ia Bang Commune. The tournament will feature teams divided into groups competing in 11-a-side matches, with top performers advancing to the semifinals and final.
Hoàng Anh Gia Lai Football Club (HAGL), the host, is set to invite youth academies from countries including the United States, Brazil, Thailand, Japan, South Korea and several European nations. Domestic participants are expected to include LPBank HAGL Academy, PVF, Viettel, Hanoi, Song Lam Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, SHB Da Nang and Tuoi Binh Phuoc School.
The total prize pool for the competition is expected to exceed 40,000 USD.
The festival forms part of a wider programme of cultural, sporting and tourism activities linked to Vietnam’s National Tourism Year 2026. Organisers say the event aims to promote Gia Lai’s image, culture and people to both domestic and international audiences.
Authorities also expect the tournament to highlight the province’s potential in sports, tourism and services, attract investment and support socio-economic growth. At the same time, it is designed to provide a professional environment for young players and contribute to the development of youth football talent in Gia Lai and across Vietnam.
