The Gia Lai boxing delegation, consisting of eight athletes, achieved its top result through Trần Võ Anh Thông, who won the gold medal in the 57kg category (ages 17–18), and Đỗ Thành Đô, who earned the bronze medal in the 51kg division (ages 19–40).
The national tournament, held from October 4 to 12, brought together nearly 400 athletes from 29 delegations nationwide.
Competitors contested in 54 weight categories across two age groups: 17–18 and 19–40.
As part of Vietnam’s official sports competition system, the event served to evaluate local teams, identify outstanding boxers, and prepare for upcoming regional and international tournaments, including the 33rd SEA Games set for December 2025.
