The Gia Lai Department of Science and Technology, in partnership with the National Startup Association, closed the 2025 Startup Mentorship Training Program on September 18, marking the end of a three-day initiative aimed at advancing the province’s startup ecosystem.
Deputy Director Nguyễn Hữu Hà said the program successfully achieved its objectives, improving the capacity of local startup advisors and producing positive outcomes for the community.
Over the course of the training, 41 participants from Gia Lai’s startup sector engaged with experts Nguyễn Tài Tuệ, Director of the National Institute for Startup Research, and Nguyễn Liên Khả, founder of Lotus House Training.
Sessions covered key topics such as the role of advisors, mentoring skills, standardizing consulting processes, and developing professional networks.
The program blended theory with real-world case studies, giving participants practical tools to provide more effective guidance to emerging businesses.
Organizers noted that the initiative also strengthened connections among government agencies, research institutes, entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors, creating vital social capital to support sustainable growth.
Since launching the “Support for Gia Lai Province’s Innovative Startup Ecosystem, 2019-2025” project, the province has built a network of 77 startup advisors and 76 angel investors.
These stakeholders have actively supported local startups through incubation, acceleration, mentoring, and networking programs led by the Department of Science and Technology.
