For a decade, a family in Vietnam’s Gia Lai province has quietly funded the Thiện Duyên Scholarship Fund, offering annual financial support to disadvantaged students in Phú Thiện commune and helping many remain in school and pursue higher education.
Ten university students from disadvantaged backgrounds in Vietnam’s Central Highlands province of Gia Lai have received “Chắp cánh ước mơ” (Wings of Dreams) scholarships, aimed at supporting academic perseverance and easing financial hardship.
The Gia Lai provincial Youth Union, together with Muc Tim Magazine - Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, awarded 70 scholarships on November 16 to support students facing poverty, family hardship and the aftermath of Typhoon No. 13.
