The two-day programme, held on October 31 and November 1, was organized by the Quy Nhon Travel Association in Gia Lai province, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between tourism businesses in the eastern and western parts of the province.
The delegation visited several destinations with tourism potential, including Chư Đang Ya volcano, Ia Nueng community tourism village, homestays showcasing Central Highlands culture and other attractions across western Gia Lai.
The visits gave participating businesses an opportunity to assess service quality, experience local tourism products and establish direct connections with tourism service providers.
The initiative is expected to help travel companies based in the eastern part of the province gain greater access to the distinctive tourism offerings of the highlands.
This could pave the way for new travel itineraries bringing coastal visitors to explore western Gia Lai, combining seaside experiences with the region's natural and cultural attractions.
As part of the programme, a gala dinner was held at Tre Xanh Hotel in Pleiku Ward, bringing together travel agencies and tourism service providers from both eastern and western Gia Lai.
The event provided a platform for businesses to network, identify potential partners and strengthen cooperation in developing tourism products across the province.
By combining the tourism strengths of its coastal and highland areas, Gia Lai aims to develop more diverse travel experiences and establish itself as an attractive destination for visitors.
