Ten “wings of dreams” scholarships awarded to disadvantaged students in Gia Lai

Ten university students from disadvantaged backgrounds in Vietnam’s Central Highlands province of Gia Lai have received “Chắp cánh ước mơ” (Wings of Dreams) scholarships, aimed at supporting academic perseverance and easing financial hardship.

The scholarships were awarded on December 16 by the Faculty of Early Childhood Education at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, in collaboration with Hanwha Life Vietnam Insurance Co., Ltd., to students studying at the university’s Gia Lai campus.

Each of the 10 scholarships is valued at 3 million VND (about USD 120) and is intended for students who face difficult circumstances but have shown determination and effort in their studies.

According to the organisers, the programme provides not only practical financial assistance but also meaningful encouragement, reflecting the commitment of the university and its partners to supporting students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education programme at the Gia Lai campus.

The award ceremony also conveyed a broader message of social responsibility and community support, highlighting the importance of investing in human resource development for Early Childhood Education, particularly in disadvantaged areas such as Gia Lai.
