Dr. Trần Thanh Sơn, Deputy Director of ICISE, said the achievement reflects the strong performance of research groups from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Education (IFIRSE), which operates under ICISE.

The ranking highlights the contributions of IFIRSE researchers to fundamental scientific studies and underscores the effectiveness of international collaboration programmes as well as ongoing efforts to develop a high-quality academic environment at ICISE.

Recognition by the Nature Index also demonstrates the quality and impact of research conducted by IFIRSE’s teams. It reinforces ICISE’s role in advancing international scientific cooperation, supporting influential research activities and contributing to the development of fundamental science in Vietnam.

The Nature Index is a globally recognised database and tracking system that evaluates research institutions based on publications in a selected group of high-quality scientific journals across multiple disciplines. It is widely used by the international scientific community to assess the contribution and influence of research organisations on the advancement of global science.

Since 2013, ICISE has welcomed more than 19,000 scientists from 62 countries, including 19 Nobel laureates. The centre said this achievement serves as a source of pride for Gia Lai province and reflects its commitment to knowledge-sharing and sustainable development.
