Gia Lai students win top honors at 2026 EMCC

(GLO) – Two students from Gia Lai have excelled by winning the first and second runner-up titles at the 22nd elite maths challenge cup (EMCC) 2026, an international mathematics competition held in Malaysia. This achievement further highlights the impressive performance of Gia Lai students.

On July 26, the 22nd EMCC 2026, an international mathematics competition, was held at Management & Science University (MSU) in Shah Alam, Malaysia, attracting 13 student delegations from various countries and territories.

Representing Vietnam at the competition was Smart Kids Gia Lai Education Company, with two third-grade students. As a result, Nguyễn Lương Phát (student at Sao Viet Primary, Secondary and High School, Pleiku Ward) excelled to win the 1st runner-up title, while Huỳnh Lê Gia Bảo (student at Nguyen Van Troi Primary School, Pleiku Ward) secured the 2nd runner-up position.
