Three Gia Lai coaches complete the 2024/25 Pro/AFC/VFF professional football coaching course

Recently, three coaches from Gia Lai successfully completed the Pro/AFC/VFF 2024/25 professional football coaching course. This is the highest-level coaching program within the training system of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Accordingly, the three coaches mentioned above are: Đinh Hồng Vinh – President of Quy Nhơn United Football Club, Bùi Đoàn Quang Huy – Technical Director of Quy Nhơn United, and Nguyễn Văn Đàn – a former talented player who previously worked as a coach at Hoàng Anh Gia Lai Football Club and is currently the head coach of Quảng Ninh Football Club.

The 2024/25 Pro/AFC/VFF Professional Football Coaching Course brought together 18 participants, all of whom are coaches currently working in the V-League, the National First Division, and various national teams.

The participating coaches included: Vũ Hồng Việt, Nguyễn Việt Thắng, Phạm Thành Lương, Đinh Hồng Vinh, Bùi Đoàn Quang Huy, Văn Sỹ Sơn, Nguyễn Thành Công, Phạm Minh Đức, Phan Như Thuật, Lê Phước Tứ, Thạch Bảo Khanh, Huỳnh Quốc Anh, Trần Trọng Bình, Nguyễn Văn Đàn, Trần Tiến Đại, Đặng Văn Thành, Mauro Alexandre Tavares Jeronimo, and Nguyễn Thị Mai Lan.

The course was structured into four phases: Phase 1 took place from July 17 to 30, 2024, in Hanoi; Phase 2 will be held from July 1 to 21, 2025, in Japan; Phase 3 will run from August to December 2025 at the clubs or centers where the coaches are currently working; and Phase 4 will be held from December 14 to 24, 2025, in Hanoi.

Through this course, each coach had the opportunity to reflect on their own professional journey, thereby enhancing their professionalism and gaining a clearer understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a coach in the context of modern football.
