The policy has spurred a wave of innovation and expansion among private enterprises, particularly in Bình Định province, where business leaders are pioneering sustainable models, adopting digital transformation, and reaching international markets.
One standout example is Lê Duy Lân (born 1992), Director of Life Tourism Management Co., Ltd., who was named among the top 10 outstanding young startup entrepreneurs of 2024.
His Trung Lương coastal tourism project integrates “green” principles, achieving a 70% occupancy rate last summer, creating jobs for more than 150 workers, and contributing over VND 3 billion (USD 118,000) to the state budget.
In the supporting industry, Hoàng Đại Thạch (born 1992), head of Bình Định Cotton Manufacturing Co., Ltd., has focused on domestic markets through technology investment, closed-loop production, and quality control systems.
This strategy has strengthened the company’s brand and expanded its reach into neighboring provinces.
Meanwhile, Ngô Thế Long (born 1997), Director of HAKUEN Group Management Consulting Co., Ltd., has grown his company from one facility to eight branches in three years, quadrupled revenue, and contributed nearly VND 1 billion (USD 39,400) annually to the state budget.
As leader of the Bình Định Young Innovative Startup Entrepreneurs Club, he emphasizes customer-focused growth: “Our customers’ success is our success.”
Other enterprises are also setting new benchmarks.
VCU JSC (Chư Prông commune) has adopted ISO and FDA-compliant production, exporting Vietnamese coffee via platforms such as Amazon and Lazada. The company earns average monthly revenue of nearly VND 500 million (USD 19,700).
Hải Thành Auto Company, led by Vũ Thành Luân (born 1991), has digitized all after-sales processes, cutting service time by 30%, boosting customer return rates by 25%, and maintaining a satisfaction index above 90% for three years.
Đại Thành Wood JSC, directed by Lê Công Thành (born 1992), applies multiple ISO standards and ERP software while investing in modern production lines to strengthen competitiveness in export markets.
These cases highlight a broader trend of technological innovation, sustainability, and international integration among Vietnam’s young entrepreneurs, aligning with Resolution 68’s vision of a dynamic and responsible private sector.
Vũ Hồng Quân, a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and Chairman of the Bình Định Young Entrepreneurs Association, said the resolution gives young leaders “a new vision and confidence”.
He called for more incubators, innovation centers, and partnerships with universities to support management training and sustainable strategies.
“Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW has identified the development of the private economy as a key driver of the socialist-oriented market economy. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on removing barriers for this sector to break through. Enterprises, especially young ones, must bravely accept risks, overcome hesitation, correct mistakes, boldly raise issues, and seek new directions. Businesses can only survive and grow by upgrading, connecting, and conducting transparent, intelligence-based operations. The relationship between regulators and businesses must be one of close cooperation and mutual development.”

“We hope the province will soon issue criteria for supporting production land, and establish mechanisms to ensure that small, startup, as well as medium and large enterprises, can all access land and site clearance. This will drive the development of the clean, circular wood processing industry. In addition, investment procedures should be streamlined, administrative reforms accelerated, and support provided to help businesses overcome challenges related to fire prevention, environmental issues, and strict FDI controls to prevent trade fraud.”

Chairman of the Bình Định Wood and Forest Products Association

“Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW expands the participation of private enterprises in national key infrastructure projects. If there are transparent mechanisms for contractor selection and bidding, local businesses will be able to maximize their capabilities and retain local human resources. We also propose giving priority to small and medium-sized enterprises, especially those led by youth, women, and ethnic minorities, in line with the Resolution’s provisions.”

Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Construction Association
