The teams are tasked with expediting preparedness, particularly the development of disaster response plans, evacuation schemes, and safety protocols for residents in areas prone to storms, floods, and landslides.
They will also ensure the safety of boats and ships during tropical depressions and storms, while verifying accurate updates on households, available forces, equipment, supplies, food, and designated evacuation points.
Inspections will include a review of the Gia Lai province’s disaster prevention system, focusing on account management, user permissions, system modules, and operational readiness during emergencies.
Localities’ ability to use the system for monitoring, command, and timely reporting will also be assessed.
The teams will examine the implementation of the “four on-the-spot” principle, forces, command, supplies, and logistics, in scenarios such as storms, flash floods, and landslides.
Other areas of review include reservoir and dike safety and ensuring clear water flow in rivers, streams, and drainage canals ahead of the rainy season.
The inspections must be completed by September 15, with reports submitted to the Department of Agriculture and Environment by September 20.
