The Ia Pa commune’s police force confirmed that Kpă H’Nghi, 21, and Kpă Việt, 18, both from Chơ Ma village, formally applied to join the force this week.

Kpă Việt, who recently graduated from high school, was encouraged by local authorities and proactively submitted his application.

His sister, Kpă H’Nghi, who earned a nursing degree from Gia Lai College, also applied, citing her dedication to the police service.

Major Đỗ Hòa Bình, Deputy Chief of Ia Pa commune’s police force, said the siblings’ decision reflected a growing trend among young people, particularly women, volunteering for public security service.

He called it a positive sign of public trust and a contribution to building a professional, elite, and modern police force.
