The event, organized by the Phu Quoc Red Cross Sub-Association (An Giang) in coordination with the Gia Lai Provincial Red Cross and several volunteer groups, provided free medical check-ups and medication for 400 local residents.
Each received a package of essential items and 100,000 VND (about USD 4), with a total value of 240,000 VND (about USD 9.50) per package.

Students at Vinh An Primary School were also supported with 180 gift packages worth 200,000 VND (about USD 8) each, containing backpacks, instant noodles, milk, snacks, and sandals.
Five scholarships, each valued at 500,000 VND (about USD 20), were awarded to orphans and disadvantaged children.
In addition, three bicycles, each worth 2 million VND (about USD 80), were donated to students living far from school with strong academic results.
The “Sharing love” program aimed to encourage students at the start of the new academic year, promote community healthcare, and foster solidarity and compassion.



Binh Phu Commune, formed by merging three former communes, Binh Tuong, Tay Phu, and Vinh An, is home to more than 1,400 Bana ethnic minority residents.
Vinh An, a remote area with difficult transport conditions, remains one of the most disadvantaged localities.
