Located at PTIT’s Ngoc Truc training facility, the iKame creative space complex will serve as an incubator for innovative projects, enabling students to sharpen skills and launch entrepreneurial ventures while still in school.
The initiative is part of a broader collaboration between academia and business to train high-quality human resources for the growing gaming industry.
PTIT Director Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hoai Bac noted that the institute offers Vietnam’s first specialized undergraduate program in Game Design and Development.
The program aims to produce graduates capable of mastering advanced design and development technologies to meet domestic and international industry needs.
The new complex is equipped with a laboratory featuring 50 state-of-the-art computers, supporting research and training across PTIT’s technical disciplines, including game design, multimedia technology, information technology, and multimedia communications.
Modeled after iKame’s headquarters, the facility provides a modern, hands-on environment for students to gain practical experience.
The partnership also established a game technology practice lab, reflecting the close ties between PTIT and industry.
Leaders expect the space to become a hub for startups and potentially future “unicorns” in Vietnam’s game technology sector.
Founded more than a decade ago, iKame has grown into a major mobile game and app developer with milestones in international markets.
The company continues to pursue its goal of becoming Vietnam’s leading technology group with global reach.
