The introduction of electric buses marks a significant step forward in modernizing the public transportation system towards greater safety, convenience, and environmental friendliness.
Each bus can accommodate up to 60 passengers (25 seats, 34 standing handrails, and 1 space for people with disabilities), and is equipped with a range of modern amenities.
A standout feature of the electric buses is the automated driver behavior monitoring system, which issues safety warnings in hazardous situations.
The buses are also equipped with a lowering mechanism to facilitate boarding and alighting, providing support for the elderly, children, pregnant women, and people with disabilities.
Additionally, the buses are fitted with electronic display boards and next-stop announcements, as well as entertainment screens. Surveillance cameras, reverse warning systems, and parking assist features help ensure security and safety throughout the journey.
According to the plan, these two electric buses will be deployed on two routes serving the wards of Quy Nhơn, Quy Nhơn Nam, Quy Nhơn Tây, and Quy Nhơn Đông.
