The event, held at the Community Activity House in Đăk Pơ Nan village, was attended by Nguyễn Chí Cẩn, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Red Cross Society; representatives of Viet Tan Phat Service Co., Ltd.; local officials; school representatives; and around 200 students and parents.
Organisers presented 26 aid packages to families of leprosy patients in Đăk Pơ Nan village, each containing rice, instant noodles and other essentials.
A further 169 gift sets were given to students from Đăk Pơ Nan and Pơ Nang villages studying at Lơ Pang Primary School No. 1.
Each set included a school bag, notebooks, pens, clothing, snacks, and milk. The contributions were sponsored by Viet Tan Phat Service Co., Ltd., Want Want Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd., and Fly To Sky Social Enterprise.
Five bicycles, donated by Kim Thy Store, were awarded to five ethnic minority students facing especially difficult circumstances. In addition, 120 packages of school uniforms and snacks were distributed to preschool children in the commune.
The total value of donations was estimated at 80 million VND (US$3,150). The program aimed to support families in hardship and motivate students as they begin the 2025-2026 academic year.
