(GLO) – The American travel magazine National Geographic has just featured seven of the world’s most stunning sunrise spots, with Da Lat, Vietnam topping the list.

National Geographic travel magazine has featured Da Lat, highlighting its cloud-hunting spots, views of the Langbiang peak shrouded in mist, and the undulating pine hills that create a captivating landscape at dawn.

The Lam Vien Plateau is described as “where dawn belongs to the clouds,” with valleys blanketed in mist and mountain peaks rising like islands adrift in a “white sea.”

Local residents and photographers recommend ideal viewing spots such as Da Phu, Thien Phuc Duc, and Ngo Quyen, where thick clouds and the first rays of sunlight appear in the early morning.

Following Da Lat on the list are Danakil (Ethiopia) with the Erta Ale volcano and Asale salt lake; the Andes (Peru), where Quechua artisans weave in the morning mist; Emilia-Romagna (Italy), home to the dawn ritual of making Parmigiano Reggiano; the sparkling Guérande salt marshes (France) at sunrise; the Azores (Portugal), where wooden boats set out to sea before dawn; and Varanasi (India), where the Ganges River resonates with early morning raga melodies.
