Gia Lai collects 279 units of blood in voluntary donation drive

(GLO) – Gia Lai Province collected 279 safe units of blood during a voluntary donation campaign held on the morning of September 19 in Ia Pa commune.

The event, themed “Every drop of blood donated-A life saved,” was organized by the Gia Lai provincial steering committee for voluntary blood donation, in coordination with the People’s Committees of Ia Pa, Pờ Tó, and Ia Tul communes, along with the hematology and blood transfusion Department of Gia Lai General Hospital.

Nearly 300 participants, including officials, civil servants, public employees, union members, youth, and local residents, joined the drive.

All donated blood was transferred to the Gia Lai General Hospital's blood bank to support emergency care and patient treatment across the province.
