(GLO) – All 135 communes and wards in Gia Lai province have launched patriotic emulation movements to implement the resolutions of the 2025-2030 commune and ward Party congresses, aiming to turn political commitments into concrete socio-economic outcomes.

The campaigns, rolled out in early September, are designed to mobilize Party members and the public under the motto “putting people at the center, with the highest goal of serving the people and improving their quality of life.”

Localities are tasked with translating congress resolutions into tailored programs that promote growth, reduce poverty, and enhance social services.

Ambitious growth targets

In An Nhon Ward, the Party Committee announced targets of 14.7-15.2% annual growth in total product value, focusing on industry, construction, and services.

The ward currently has three industrial clusters covering more than 172 hectares. Two clusters, Doi Hoa Son and Tan Duc, are operational, while the Tan Nghi cluster is seeking investment in infrastructure development.

Party Secretary Le Thanh Tung said An Nhon’s transport links offer a strong advantage in attracting investors and accelerating development.

De Gi Commune has set an annual product value growth target of over 10% and aims to raise per capita income by 8% each year.

By 2030, services, tourism, and fisheries are projected to account for 70% of its economy. Authorities also expect the rate of multidimensional poverty households to fall below 0.5%.

Chairman Vo Van Tai stressed that resolutions must be realized through specific action programs with active public participation.

In Canh Vinh Commune, authorities are capitalizing on the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh industrial, urban and service park to boost industry.

The commune is targeting a 33.9% annual growth in product value, contributing to sectoral growth of 40.4%.

Chairman Duong Hiep Hoa said efforts will focus on clean industries, deep processing, and wood and furniture manufacturing.

Nguyen Van Lang, General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, said the park aims to attract around 20 enterprises between 2025 and 2027. More than 300 hectares of clean land have been prepared to accommodate new investors.

Social development and public support

Alongside economic goals, local programs also emphasize Party building, administrative reform, and public services.

Initiatives include clean agriculture, urban modernization, rural development, and improvements in transport, healthcare and education.

Residents have expressed optimism. Pham Van Kien, a Party member in De Gi Commune, said the resolution aligns with local needs, particularly in developing integrated economic sectors such as marine industries, eco-tourism, and high-quality urban areas.

Leadership’s direction

Provincial leaders underscored accountability in implementation. Rah Lan Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, said localities must apply the “six clears” principle: clear people, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear responsibilities, clear products and clear authority.

“The key is to build a clean, strong Party organization and an efficient political system. Local authorities must remain close to the people, listen to their aspirations, and promptly address legitimate concerns to ensure unity in implementing resolutions,” Chung stated.
