Gia Lai Province recognizes leaders in “skillful mass mobilization” campaign

The conference celebrated the campaign’s role in strengthening ties between the Party, government, and citizens, while driving socio-economic and political development.

Representatives from Vietnam’s Central Commission for Propaganda and Education, the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization, and provincial leaders attended the event, including Rah Lan Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.

Over the past five years, the campaign has promoted civic engagement, accountability, and exemplary conduct among officials, Party members, and local communities. Village elders, religious leaders, and respected individuals played key roles in addressing local challenges, from eradicating makeshift and dilapidated housing to fostering sustainable poverty reduction in ethnic minority areas.

Gia Lai established 5,813 exemplary models spanning the economy, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building, and governance. The initiative has enhanced social cohesion, public trust, and the efficiency of provincial governance.

Rah Lan Chung emphasized the strategic importance of Gia Lai, home to nearly 3.6 million people, including 23% ethnic minorities, and called for continued innovation ahead of the upcoming Party congresses leading to the 14th National Party Congress.

The movement will integrate with administrative reform, digital transformation, grassroots democracy, and key campaigns such as “All People Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas”.

The Provincial Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization officially launched the next phase of the program for 2025–2030, aiming to expand successful models, enhance public participation, and further strengthen provincial governance and social development.
