Families of national heroes honoured

(GLO) – On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh visited Tuy Phước Tây commune to honor veterants who contributed to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause.

During his visit, Nguyen Tuan Anh expressed gratitude for their ancestors’ sacrifices in the national liberation struggle and the country’s development.

“The Party and State always remember and value the contributions of previous generations,” he said. “Authorities at all levels will continue to enhance support and welfare for policy beneficiaries.”

As part of the visit, the Vice Chairman presented gifts on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the veterans, families of martyrs, and those recognized for their meritorious service to the nation.

This visit reflects ongoing efforts by provincial authorities to honor historical contributions and reinforce support for those who played a pivotal role in shaping Vietnam’s history.
