Ia Hiao: Agriculture, infrastructure and digital transformation
In Ia Hiao commune, resolutions have been disseminated to every Party cell, official, and resident, including through the “Ia Hiao Ngày Mới” (New day in Ia Hiao) fanpage.
Party Secretary Phạm Văn Phương said the commune’s action program prioritizes agricultural development, economic infrastructure, and digital transformation.
Specific measures include establishing an agricultural and forestry cooperative and supporting a household noodle producer in registering for a 3-star OCOP standard.
To tackle fragmented rice production, Ia Hiao has organized forums guiding farmers to form linkages and create large-scale model fields in Tân Phú hamlet.
On infrastructure, the commune has allocated funds to widen the main road from 3.5 meters to 5.5 meters, with total roadside width reaching 11.5 meters.
The project, worth nearly 3 billion VND (about USD 120,000), is expected to improve transport and trade.
“People clearly understand the policy, are excited and in agreement, and are willing to donate land to expand transportation routes,” said Trần Văn Tuấn, Secretary of the Điểm 9 hamlet Party Cell.
Thống Nhất: Urban upgrades and cultural preservation
Thống Nhất ward has set two priorities for the 2025-2030 period: breakthroughs in urban infrastructure and improvements to quality of life, tied to preserving traditional culture in ethnic minority villages.
Standing Deputy Secretary Đoàn Thị Bích Hà said the ward is mobilizing resources to upgrade infrastructure, utilize land funds, and encourage residents to donate land for road expansion and beautification.
The ward is also integrating projects funded by central, provincial, and local budgets with community resources to expand social infrastructure and community-based tourism. Programs are implemented under the “six clear” principle to ensure accountability.
Party member Lê Trung Nguyên, 69, exemplifies this approach by developing three hectares of coffee. “Party members taking the lead through concrete actions is the best way to bring the Party’s resolutions to life,” he said.
Ia Mơ: Border security and national defense
In border areas, Party resolutions are tied closely to defense. Ia Mơ commune, which shares 27.6 kilometers of border with Cambodia, has identified political and border security as one of its five key tasks.
Deputy Secretary and People’s Committee Chairman Trần Quyết Thắng said the commune is linking military recruitment with training, building police and militia forces, and coordinating with border guards to safeguard security and order.
Village elder Rơ Lan Hlết of Klăh village regularly works with local authorities to educate residents about vigilance, discouraging illegal border crossings and reinforcing adherence to the Law on National Borders.
“This is not only about protecting the border, but also about strengthening trust in the Party and State,” he said.
Ia Krái: Social order and security posture
The Party Committee of Ia Krái commune has prioritized strengthening political security, social order, and the mass movement to protect national security.
Local authorities are enhancing forecasting, mobilizing forces to prevent sabotage, curb crime and traffic accidents, and build a strong people’s security posture.
