(GLO) – Vice Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thị Thanh Lịch on Tuesday visited children in especially difficult circumstances and presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts at social and medical facilities in Bình Định, Quy Nhơn Đông and Quy Nhơn wards.

At the An Nhơn Center for social work and social protection, SOS Children’s Village Quy Nhơn, Hy Vọng Quy Nhơn Special School and Quy Nhơn Medical Center, Lịch extended warm encouragement, inquiring about the children’s health and urging them to overcome illness and hardship to achieve success in both study and daily life.

She also called on the institutions to continue enhancing their work in healthcare, education, and child protection, emphasizing these as essential and ongoing responsibilities.

The Vice Chairwoman reaffirmed that provincial departments and agencies will provide support to ensure the best possible conditions for the centers to carry out their missions.

On this occasion, Lịch presented 155 gifts worth nearly 55 million VND (about USD 2,150) to disadvantaged children, helping them celebrate a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival.
