At a ceremony held to honor Vietnamese students who won medals at international Olympiads and science and technology competitions in 2025, the ministry awarded Certificates of Merit to the collective of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted and to Nguyen Thi Kieu, an Informatics teacher, for their exceptional role in preparing students for international competitions.
Vietnamese students recorded numerous notable achievements in 2025, with Gia Lai province standing out through the long-standing academic leadership of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, which has consistently produced top-performing students for national and international contests.
Also at the event, Le Kien Thanh, an Informatics student at the school, was awarded the Second-class Labor Order by the President after winning a gold medal at the 2025 International Olympiad in Informatics in Bolivia. His achievement further reinforced Gia Lai province’s position within Vietnam’s elite education system.
The ministry’s recognition underscored the school’s sustained efforts in educational innovation, the development of a high-quality learning environment, and a strategic approach to identifying and nurturing young academic talent.
