The competition, launched on April 17, received 98 entries from individual contestants and groups competing in solo, duet, trio and ensemble categories.
Contest performances focused on themes including President Ho Chi Minh, the Communist Party of Vietnam, patriotism, national traditions, youth aspirations, friendship, dreams and the experiences of university life.
Following the preliminary round, organizers selected 25 performances to advance to the semifinals, with 15 acts ultimately earning places in the final.
Finalists delivered a diverse range of performances that showcased vocal ability, stage presence and creativity. Featured songs included Chiếc khăn piêu, Việt Nam trong tôi là, Mắt bão, Giải phóng Điện Biên, Tiếng hát nơi đảo xa, Từ làng Sen, Xe đạp, Bản trường ca trên mặt trống đồng and Nỗi nhớ xa quê.
The judging panel assessed contestants based on vocal quality and technique, stage performance, confidence, artistic identity, creativity in song selection or arrangement, as well as costumes and stage presentation.
In the solo category, organizers awarded one first prize, two second prizes and five third prizes. Trần Lê Khánh Linh, from the K48F English Language class of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, won first prize with her performance of Nỗi nhớ xa quê.
In the duet, trio and group categories, one first prize, two second prizes and four third prizes were presented. The Volunteer Youth Team from the Faculty of Education secured first prize with Bản trường ca trên mặt trống đồng.
Organizers also presented two special awards: Most Popular Performance and Promising Contestant.
According to the organizers, the contest was designed to foster a vibrant and healthy cultural environment for students.
Through music, the event sought to promote moral values, encourage love for the homeland, strengthen national pride and highlight the dynamism and creativity of young people.
