Quy Nhon University students win 6 national science and technology awards

Students from Quy Nhon University have won six awards at the Ministry of Education and Training’s 2025 Science and Technology Awards for higher education institutions, according to an official decision recognizing this year’s winning research projects.

The university earned one second prize, three third prizes and two consolation prizes, underscoring its growing strength in academic research and training integration.

The second prize went to the project “State Management of the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Martial Arts in Binh Dinh Province,” conducted by Trần Thị Mỹ Dung and Huỳnh Ngọc Danh under the supervision of MSc. Đào Bích Hạnh.

Three third prizes were awarded to:

– “Research on the Impact of Disclosure of Water and Energy Consumption Information on the Enterprise Value of Listed Companies on the Vietnamese Stock Market,” by a student group supervised by Dr. Phạm Thị Thúy Hằng.

– “Research, Fabrication, and Survey of H₂S Gas Capture Properties Based on Bentonite for Application in Biofilter Cartridges,” carried out under Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Minh Vương.

– “Current Situation and Solutions to Improve the Effectiveness of Land Clearance for Cemetery Land in the Southwest Urban Area Project of Nhơn Lý Commune, Nhơn Hội Economic Zone, Binh Dinh Province,” guided by MSc. Bùi Thị Diệu Hiền.

Two consolation prizes were granted to studies examining the impact of ownership structure on the performance of listed companies, and the influence of Korean pop culture on high school students in Quy Nhon City.

This year, the Ministry recognized a total of 530 projects nationwide, including 20 first prizes, 105 second prizes, 153 third prizes and 252 consolation prizes.
