Tuy Phước commune donates $11,000 to support flood victims in Northern Vietnam

The Party Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuy Phước Commune have donated 280 million VND (approximately $11,000) to assist residents in the northern and north-central provinces affected by recent storms No. 10 and No. 11.

The donation was officially presented at the Gia Lai Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The funds were raised from local officials, civil servants, public employees, union and association members, businesses, and philanthropists in Tuy Phước Commune, following a call to support communities hit by severe flooding.

After nearly three weeks of fundraising, the campaign received strong participation, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among the local population.

Trần Minh Sơn, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai Province, expressed his gratitude for the compassion and contributions from Tuy Phước Commune.

He emphasized that the donation provides vital encouragement and practical help for families struggling to recover and rebuild their lives after the disasters.
