The event, organised by the school in collaboration with the Center for Science Discovery and Innovation under the Department of Science and Technology, attracted a large number of students and carried the theme: “Tuy Phuoc secondary school’s youth: STEM innovation - Shaping the digital era, proudly reaching new heights”.
A central feature of the festival was an interactive experience area showcasing modern tools and models, including a mobile planetarium, Indi robots, Cubeto, Sphero Bolt, and mathematical puzzles such as Tangram and the Tower of Hanoi. Students were encouraged to directly engage with the equipment, exploring scientific concepts through practical application.
Guided by specialists from the Department of Science and Technology, participants operated robots, assembled models and tackled problem-solving challenges, creating a dynamic and immersive learning environment.
Activities were tailored to different grade levels and aligned with real-world applications. Students in grades 6 and 7 explored themes related to the digital era and cultural integration, while grade 8 focused on automation and robotics. Grade 9 students worked on smart home technologies, programming and digital content creation.
Across the exhibition booths, students actively sought information, posed questions and demonstrated projects developed individually and in groups, contributing to a lively and collaborative atmosphere.
The school said the festival aims to enhance teachers’ awareness of STEM education and gradually modernise teaching methods by placing students at the centre of the learning process.
It also serves as a platform to nurture creativity, strengthen competencies and equip students with essential skills for the demands of the digital era.
