At the Central College of Electro-mechanics, Construction and Agro-Forestry, more than 500 new students completed enrollment procedures on August 19-20.
Volunteer teams were deployed from the campus gate to guide traffic, assist with paperwork, and introduce clubs.
Youth volunteers also coordinated with dormitory staff to provide supervision and support.
Vice Rector Vũ Xuân Phong said the school had installed maps and signboards to help families and students save time and follow procedures more easily.
The Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology is offering a 20% tuition reduction for the 2025–2026 to 2027–2028 academic years across 19 majors at college, intermediate and transfer levels, including mechatronics, industrial electronics, information technology and hospitality management.
Acting Vice Rector Phạm Văn Tường said this was the first time such tuition support had been introduced, adding that the school would also strengthen English training and raise graduation standards to ensure professional competence.
At Quy Nhon University, student housing has been a priority. In July, its Youth Union compiled a list of around 200 vetted rental rooms near the campus, including details on addresses, rental prices, conditions, and photos.
The union is also working with landlords and organizations to award scholarships worth 60 million VND (USD 2,360) to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who achieved high entrance scores.

Deputy Youth Union Secretary Bùi Tuấn Kiệt said the university aimed to accompany students “throughout their journey,” from accommodation and scholarships to soft-skills training.
The welcoming atmosphere has also reassured new students. At the Central College of Electromechanics, Automotive Technology, freshman R’Căm Nguyễn Đình Hiếu said guidance from senior students helped him complete procedures quickly, boosting his confidence as he began his studies.
At Quy Nhon University, the Youth Connection Club created a festive atmosphere with music and performances to engage freshmen.
Computer science education-majoring student Bùi Thiên Phú said he had already been supported in finding accommodation and felt “very welcomed,” adding he looked forward to the September new student fair where each faculty will showcase its traditions.
