This year’s festival brought together former footballers representing three regional teams: Hong Ha from northern Vietnam, Truong Son from the central region and Cuu Long from the south. Among the notable attendees were well-known former players such as Vo Hoang Buu, Tu Le, Lu Dinh Tuan, Huynh Quoc Cuong, Ho Thanh Cang and Nguyen Hong Pham.

Representing Gia Lai were Huynh Van Anh, Huynh Mau, Pham Van Thin, Duong Ngoc Hung, Vo Tan Ngoc, Le Trong Tuan, Tran Duc Hung, Tran Nhat Tuyen, Tran Minh Quang, Le Xuan Anh, Phung Hoan and Tran Minh Canh.

The annual festival is designed to strengthen ties among former players, recognise the contributions of past generations to Vietnamese football and help inspire enthusiasm for the sport among younger fans and athletes.
