The tournament features FC Quảng cáo Trần Gia, FC Bãi Biển, FC Group, FC Trung Phong Mang Yang, FC Anh Hai and FC Ngọc Nghĩa. Teams are split into two groups and compete in a single round-robin format under seven-a-side rules, with the top two sides from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
Organisers have introduced a rule allowing each team to add three players after the semi-finals, a move aimed at increasing competitiveness in the decisive stages.
Several sides have strengthened their squads with well-known amateur players, including Tài Di Maria, Trường Dũ, Tuấn Bin, Quân Eto and Hải Triều, all of whom have experience in major grassroots competitions such as the Saigon Premier League and Hanoi Premier League.
In the opening match following the ceremony, FC Ngọc Nghĩa secured a narrow 1-0 victory over FC Trung Phong Mang Yang, marking an early highlight of the competition.
The tournament is jointly organised by TQB Sport & Entertainment and HLC Media, and will run until April 26.
The winning team will receive a trophy, a title board and a cash prize of 10 million VND (approximately 400 USD). The runner-up will earn 5 million VND (about 200 USD), while the third-place team will take home 3 million VND (around 120 USD). Individual awards for top scorer, best player and best goalkeeper are each valued at 1 million VND (roughly 40 USD).
