The initiative follows Official Telegram No. 06/CĐ-UBND, issued on November 3 by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, outlining proactive measures to mitigate storm and flood impacts.
Under the plan, the command has mobilized multiple drone units in collaboration with local and regional agencies.
The deployment includes one reconnaissance flycam from the Provincial Military Command, five drones coordinated with the Southern Central and Central Highlands Forest Investigation and Planning Sub-Institute, and five transport drones (Agras T-40 and Agras T-50) provided by Vietnam Digital Flight Registration Co., Ltd. and Trung Tiến Import-Export Co., Ltd.
The Provincial Military Command has instructed all agencies and units to ensure strict coordination, maintain personnel and equipment safety, adhere to military discipline, and remain ready for immediate mobilization when ordered.
The use of UAVs is expected to enhance the province’s capacity for rapid response, especially in areas isolated by flooding or severe weather conditions.
