Quân began researching and preparing for the SAT independently in 10th grade, using books and online resources while also receiving guidance from his teachers.
He chose to take the exam in August, allowing him to use his summer break for focused preparation.
According to Quân, the SAT requires strong logical thinking skills as well as a broad base of general knowledge. He found the social studies and English language components particularly challenging during this attempt.
Both Quân and his family were surprised and overjoyed when he received the perfect score.
The achievement gives Quân an additional pathway for university admission. He plans to apply to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City while continuing to prepare for Vietnam's national high school graduation exam with the B00 subject combination of Math, Chemistry and Biology.
