The programme featured 16 performances of music and dance, structured into three themed segments: “Epic of Unity”, “Echoes of the Great Highlands”, and “Gia Lai Reaching Out”. It attracted both local residents and tourists.

The opening segment, “Epic of Unity”, revisited the spirit of Vietnam’s resistance era through well-known revolutionary songs, including “The Party’s Flag,” “There Are Such Twenties,” and “Oh Southern Land, We Are Ready”, alongside a medley celebrating the 1975 Spring Victory. Carefully staged performances recreated the atmosphere of national reunification.

In “Echoes of the Great Highlands”, the programme shifted focus to Central Highlands culture. Performances featured traditional music and dance, including T’rung instrumental pieces and gong performances, highlighting the region’s cultural identity and community life.

The final segment, “Gia Lai reaching out”, introduced a modern tone with contemporary performances such as “Vietnamese people” and “wild sunflowers”, reflecting a province that is both dynamic and globally connected while preserving its heritage.

The event contributed to the festive atmosphere of the April 30-May 1 holiday period, while promoting patriotism and honouring those who contributed to the country’s independence.
