Gia Lai seeks 80 volunteers for the 9th in’tl Vietnamese traditional martial arts festival

The Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union is recruiting 80 volunteers to support the 9th International Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts Festival - Gia Lai 2026, which will take place from Aug. 2 to Aug. 5 in Quy Nhon Ward and several other communes and wards across the province.

The recruitment is open to Youth Union members, young people, university and college students, participants in Youth Union activities at communes and wards, and other individuals interested in volunteering for the event.

Applicants are required to demonstrate good moral character, discipline, a strong sense of responsibility, and sufficient health to carry out assigned duties throughout the festival. They should also possess effective communication skills, maintain courteous and professional conduct, and be able to work in a public-facing environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with English or other foreign language skills, previous experience in volunteer work or cultural, sports, tourism and diplomatic events, as well as basic knowledge of Gia Lai Province's history, culture and tourism.

Selected volunteers will assist with welcoming and guiding delegates, guests, and domestic and international martial arts teams. They will also support the coordination of activities at festival venues, provide guidance to visitors and tourists, assist with reception, logistics and communications, and, where appropriate, offer interpretation and language support for international delegations. The Organizing Committee may assign additional duties as required.

Applications will be accepted from July 13 to July 27 at the Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union office, located at 29 Dien Bien Phu Street, South Quy Nhon Ward, Gia Lai Province.

The Organizing Committee plans to conduct interviews and finalize the selection of volunteers on July 27, with professional training scheduled for late July ahead of the festival's opening.
