The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a meeting on July 13 to review preparations and discuss measures aimed at ensuring the festival is safe, well-organized and memorable for participating delegations.
So far, 15 international martial arts delegations comprising 246 members from nine countries, France, Switzerland, Germany, Burkina Faso, Thailand, Morocco, Italy, Russia and China, have registered to attend.
The festival will also feature two delegations from domestic martial arts federations and associations, comprising 71 members, along with six traditional martial arts schools with 67 participants.
Organizers said the participation of Vietnamese and international delegations is expected to create a vibrant platform for cultural exchange, experience sharing and the promotion of the distinctive values of Vietnamese traditional martial arts.
As part of the festival's professional activities, 31 delegations have registered for the National Traditional Martial Arts Clubs Championship, involving approximately 750 team leaders, coaches and athletes.
