Gia Lai youth deliver 2 tons of rice and aid packages to flood-hit households

The Youth Union of Ia Dreh Commune in Vietnam’s Gia Lai Province, together with local philanthropists, has distributed two tons of rice and hundreds of aid packages to residents affected by recent floods, local officials said on November 22.

The campaign provided two tons of rice in partnership with Joy Foundation Social Co., Ltd., and delivered 132 packages containing essentials such as milk, sweets, and instant noodles, along with 140 prepared meals, to families in the villages of Gum Gốp, Bhă Nga, and Nông Siu.

From November 20 to 21, the Youth Union also coordinated with benefactors to distribute an additional 400 relief packages, including rice, instant noodles, drinking water, clothing, and medicine, as well as 100 servings of hot porridge to severely affected households.

Local authorities said the initiative demonstrates solidarity and community responsibility among the youth and supporting organizations, helping flood-hit families stabilize their lives.
