A delegation from the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) joined local leaders and industry representatives in Gia Lai province on Friday to discuss strengthening tourism product linkages and promoting ethnic minority culture.
At the Best Tourism Villages 2025 awards ceremony in China on Friday, UN Tourism recognized Lo Lo Chai Village in Tuyen Quang Province and Quynh Son Community-based Tourism Village in Lang Son Province for their outstanding contributions to sustainable rural tourism.
The country welcomed about 1.5 million foreign visitors in September - down 9.6% from August but 19.5% higher year-on-year. Total international arrivals surpassed 15.4 million in the first nine months, up 21.5% from 2024, with 84.5% arriving by air.
