Hà Anh Tuấn, partners deliver Tet gifts to residents in Gia Lai

The Youth Union and Youth Federation of Gia Lai Province, together with the Ho Chi Minh City Social Work Center and the Vietnam Bud Project, distributed hundreds of Tet gifts to disadvantaged residents on February 4 under the “Tet of sharing” programme.

The event took place in Canh Vinh Commune and at the Dong Tam Social Protection Center in Quy Nhon Tay Ward, offering support ahead of the Lunar New Year and in celebration of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In Canh Vinh Commune, organisers provided 300 Tet gift packages, each valued at 1.5 million VND (≈ USD 61), to low-income households and disadvantaged youth.

At the Dong Tam Social Protection Center, the delegation delivered 50 gift packages, including 10 packages worth 2 million VND each (≈ USD 82) for adults and 40 packages worth 1.5 million VND each (≈ USD 61) for children.

Speaking on behalf of the Chồi Việt Nam Project, singer Hà Anh Tuấn expressed gratitude to the centre’s staff for their care of children living in difficult circumstances. He conveyed hopes that the festive spirit of the new year would bring good fortune to the children, the elderly, and the workers at the centre.

He also voiced confidence that the Gia Lai Youth Union would continue its mission of supporting communities wherever challenges arise.

The programme aimed to ease hardships and foster a warm, joyful Tet atmosphere for disadvantaged young people and local residents as the Year of the Horse approaches.
