Parking plan announced for Gia Lai’s 2026 Tourism Year opening ceremony

Gia Lai Provincial Police have announced detailed parking arrangements for residents and visitors attending the opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, scheduled for the evening of March 28.

Under the plan, motorbikes will be directed to park on the sidewalk area of the Central Square Shopping Center, located between Co.op Mart Supermarket and the Provincial Convention Center. Cars will be allowed to park along Nguyen Tat Thanh, Le Duan and Truong Chinh streets.

Additional parking locations have been designated to accommodate the expected crowds. These include Tran Phu Primary School on Xuan Dieu Street, Ngo Van So Primary School on Ngo May Street, Quy Nhon University along Nguyen Thi Dinh Street, Ngo May Secondary School on Dien Hong Street, and parking areas along An Duong Vuong Street from Nguyen Trung Tin to Trinh Cong Son Street.

Authorities have also outlined separate parking zones for vehicles serving the event, marked with signs A, B and C. Vehicles with sign A will be stationed along the road parallel to Nguyen Thiep Street.

Those with sign B will park in the area surrounding the Nguyen Hue - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Vu Bao roundabout. Vehicles displaying sign C will be directed to the northern parking lot of Nguyen Tat Thanh Square extending to Hoang Dieu Street, as well as along Xuan Dieu Street south of the square.

The arrangements aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and orderly parking during one of the province’s key tourism events.
