FLC Quy Nhon Beach & Golf Resort has launched Green Day 2026, a recurring environmental programme designed to integrate sustainability into its core operations, reflecting a broader shift in the tourism sector towards long-term, systematic development.

The initiative was inaugurated on April 27 with a coordinated beach cleanup at Nhon Ly and Suoi Ca, involving multiple units within the FLC ecosystem, including FLC City Hotel Beach Quy Nhon, Biscom and FLC Zoo Safari Park Quy Nhon.

Activities were organised with defined zones, allocated personnel, necessary equipment and monitored progress to ensure practical effectiveness along the shoreline.

FLC Quy Nhon staff and partner units join hands to clean up Nhon Ly beach in support of the Green Day 2026 program.

Unlike one-off environmental campaigns, Green Day is structured as a regular programme, taking place monthly or quarterly. According to FLC Quy Nhon representatives, its focus extends beyond single events to ongoing environmental sanitation efforts both within the resort complex and surrounding areas, embedding sustainability into daily operations.

Waste collection activities were carried out in each area, with the participation of FLC staff and local support teams.

The programme builds on a series of long-standing initiatives already implemented at the resort, including regular beach cleanups, waste sorting, tree planting and cycling activities promoting a green lifestyle. Maintained on a weekly and monthly basis, these actions have gradually fostered an internal culture in which environmental protection is treated as a routine responsibility among staff.

“Green Day is not a short-term campaign, but part of our sustainable development strategy,” said Ricky Ho, General Manager of FLC Quy Nhon. “When activities are maintained regularly and systematically, positive changes will not only be seen in the landscape, but will also spread to the awareness and behaviour of each individual.”

Every small action contributes to keeping the marine environment clean, beautiful, and sustainable.

The programme reflects a broader operational shift in which tourism development is aligned with environmental stewardship. By sustaining small, consistent actions over time, FLC Quy Nhon aims to generate lasting improvements not only in physical surroundings but also in environmental awareness.

Over the longer term, the company expects this approach to strengthen its position as a destination that combines visitor experience with responsibility towards the natural ecosystem and local community—an increasingly important benchmark in modern tourism.
