Gia Lai Hospitals seal cooperation deal to boost local medical services

Two major healthcare institutions in Vietnam’s Central Highlands have formalized a partnership aimed at improving medical services and easing pressure on higher-level hospitals.

On March 1, in Diên Hồng Ward, Military Hospital 211 and Saigon–Gia Lai International Eye Hospital signed a professional cooperation agreement that takes effect on March 1, 2026.

Colonel Phạm Quỳnh, Deputy Director of Military Hospital 211, and Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Phượng, Medical Director of the eye hospital, represented the two sides at the signing ceremony.

Under the agreement, the hospitals will intensify professional exchanges, provide mutual technical support, and jointly conduct training to strengthen workforce capacity. They will also coordinate on medical consultations, patient referrals, admissions, and treatment to ensure more efficient and timely care.

The partnership includes sharing management expertise and updating one another on new scientific and technological developments. Both institutions expect the cooperation to enhance specialized treatment capabilities and raise the quality of local medical services, thereby reducing patient overload at higher-tier hospitals and creating more favorable conditions for those seeking care in Gia Lai.
