The Congress elected a 31-member Executive Committee, naming Trần Việt Anh as Chairman. The Association was formed following the merger of the former Binh Dinh and Gia Lai tourism associations, bringing total membership to 131.

Delegates included Nguyễn Thị Thanh Lịch, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Cao Thị Ngọc Lan, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tourism Association.

In remarks, Lan praised the Association's performance in recent years, noting its role as an extension of local authorities in mobilizing members and promoting provincial destinations and tourism programs. She urged stronger internal cohesion, innovation, and system consolidation to enhance Gia Lai’s competitiveness during the National Tourism Year.

During the 2022–2025 term, the Association focused on developing tourism products aligned with market demand and conducted surveys to identify potential resources and new attractions. It expanded partnerships with media outlets to promote destinations and organized multiple Famtrip programs for travel businesses.

Human resource development remained a priority, with regular training coordinated alongside professional agencies and experts. The Association also highlighted its social contributions during historic floods from November 19–22, 2025, when it mobilized hundreds of tourism workers and volunteers.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Association will form a subcommittee to coordinate activities for the National Tourism Year, develop specialized products and tours, and organize a Farmtrip from Quy Nhon to Pleiku themed “One Journey, Many Experiences” in April 2026. It will also co-host the Vietnam Travel Festival in Gia Lai in September 2026 alongside the Vietnam Tourism Association.
