Reporter: Is this your first visit to Gia Lai? How did you feel when experiencing Eo Gió, the Đá Xanh Road, and Bánh Ít Tower?

Miss Vietnam Hà Trúc Linh: This is my third visit to Gia Lai and each trip brings new experiences. Eo Gió, Đá Xanh Road and Bánh Ít Tower have their own unique appeal. For instance, Eo Gió is majestic and a perfect spot to watch the sunrise; meanwhile, Đá Xanh Road winds peacefully along the coast, both tranquil and distinctive; while Bánh Ít Tower is steeped in cultural depth with its ancient Cham architecture. The combination of breathtaking nature and rich cultural heritage creates a special allure for tourism in this region.

Reporter: Before experiencing these places firsthand, had you heard about them? Besides exploring the scenery, what else did you have?

Miss Vietnam Hà Trúc Linh: As a native of Phú Yên province (now Đắk Lắk province), I had heard a lot about the famous landmarks of our “neighbor” Gia Lai. However, it was only when I saw them with my own eyes that I truly appreciated the grandeur of the landscape and the cultural depth here—far beyond what I had imagined.

Not only was I captivated by the scenery, but I also had the chance to enjoy local specialties such as jellyfish hotpot, tré (fermented pork), fish cake noodle soup, and fish salad, which left lasting impressions. What struck me most was the friendliness, hospitality, and warmth of local people. For me, every journey is not just about discovering new places, but also an opportunity to deepen my love and pride for my homeland and for Vietnam.

Reporter: With the title of Miss Vietnam 2024, how you can help to promote the local tourism?

Miss Vietnam Hà Trúc Linh: I think tourism is not only a journey of discovery but also the most effective way to promote the unique culture and natural beauty of our homeland. Through its landscapes, cuisine, and heritage, visitors can gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Vietnamese people. I believe that every citizen can become a “tourism ambassador”, helping to spread these beautiful aspects to both domestic and international visitors.

Participating in this tourism promotion program, along with the Top 5 Miss Vietnam 2024 finalists, Tourism and Environment Ambassador Phạm Thùy Dương, and Top 5 Miss Vietnam 2024 finalist Hồ Ngọc Phương Linh, we took part in various filming and photography activities at Gia Lai’s famous landmarks. Through these activities, we hope to widely introduce the region’s majestic natural beauty, vibrant culture, and warm-hearted people to a broader audience.

As Miss Vietnam, I hope to leverage my influence to serve as a “cultural and tourism ambassador”, supporting the sustainable tourism development, preserving cultural identity, and spreading the positive values of Vietnam and its people.

Reporter: Thank you, Trúc Linh!
