The tournament is being held from June 12 to 14 and is organized in support of National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026, with the aim of promoting the region’s distinctive attractions and boosting golf tourism in Gia Lai province.
Competitors are divided into three groups and compete in a stroke-play format using the System 36 daily handicap system. Group A includes golfers with handicaps ranging from 0 to 16 (cut -3), Group B covers handicaps from 17 to 26 (cut -4), while Group C is reserved for players with handicaps of 27 and above.
One of the tournament’s key attractions is a Hole-In-One prize pool valued at VND 200 billion (approximately US$7.7 million), comprising 20 luxury real estate units at the FLC Pleiku Golf Club & Luxury City Resort project, one automobile and four founder cards for FLC Golf Club Pleiku.
Following the first day of competition on June 12, Quách Hữu Hợi led Group A, while Phạm Văn Tư topped Group B and Hà Công Tuấn held first place in Group C.
Organizers said the event provides a platform for golfers from across the country to connect and exchange experiences while contributing to the continued growth of golf in Vietnam.
