A film week will run from November 18 to 25, giving priority to mountainous, remote and isolated areas. Gia Lai Provincial Library and East Quy Nhơn Ward will host activities promoting reading and creative spaces.

Pleiku Library will organise exhibitions of books on Vietnamese history and culture and develop digital products showcasing traditional culture.

Accommodation providers are encouraged to offer cultural experiences, folk games and art performances, display handicrafts and traditional costumes, and screen videos introducing Gia Lai’s culture and destinations. These activities will be concentrated between November 19 and 25.

Each commune and ward must select at least one distinctive cultural activity, product or space to promote, linking it with tourism and efforts to improve local cultural life and public spaces.

Local programmes will be adapted to community conditions and, where possible, combined with national unity celebrations.

They will highlight traditions including the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space, Jrai, Bahnar and Chăm Hroi cultures, traditional martial arts, tuồng classical theatre and Bai Choi.

The provincial authorities have called for meaningful, safe and economical events, avoiding elaborate displays, unnecessary formalities and duplication.

Organisers must clearly identify who is responsible, what must be done, deadlines, responsibilities, expected outputs and decision-making authority. Digital tools will also be used to publicise and share information about the province’s main cultural activities, products and spaces.
